Easy upgrade to gearshift
Well made and a relatively straightforward installation some fettling was needed but once installed works fine I did have to shorten the tension screw as it did not allow the centre console to fit back in without doing this but overall was pleased it does take out some play from the original nylon fitment and reduces the shift travel significantly

Production tolerances mean fitting is a nightmare ! On a 2006 987 Cayman S, you have to remove the entire centre console+other parts to access the original gear shifter. To fit the new one involves breaking the original plastic bearings. After you have done this , no going back. Supplied bushes/bearings are slightly too long (1 or 2mm) You only find this out when you have started the job. What should have been a 1 hr job took 4 hours. Had to remove one of the metal washers and modify bushes.
