The Cedar Tree is a very enjoyable watch, the daughters are uniformly excellent and Cyril Luckham as Grandfather is an absolute joy. Philip Latham is avuncular and urbane. The only fly in the ointment of my absolute enjoyment are the servants who I find irritating to distraction with the exception of Jim Tapper played by Shaun Scott ( very much in the same vein as he would play in Brass in the 80’s)
