Reviews3 Stars - Good - "..McKennitt possesses a sharp eye for good material (her own and traditional) and a voice that makes mincemeat out of many of her contemporaries...could be the folk album of the year..", Included in Q's List of the 50 Best Albums of 1992.
I already knew I liked the album - especially her rendition of Tennyson’s poem The Lady of Shallot - which I’d once owned ... so it was just a matter of reclaiming , re-owning it !
Only recently discovered Loreena and I am now gathering together her albums. The Visit is outstanding, Loreena's voice is magical and all her accompanying musician friends are top class.
