  • The boy becomes a man

After disappointing second and third albums, Jake Bugg returns with a thoughtful, mature pesentation that show maturity and command over the medium. Recording in Nashville, there was bound to be a flavour of the country experience and this sits within the music as a complement, never overpowering. Bugg's first album, recorded when still a boy, showed promise. This fourth album shows the promise has been fulfilled.

  • A BUGG;S LIFE!

Jake Bugg is to me a modern Dylan. This CD exemplifies his prowess in the Nashville studios. I love all the trax, great poetry. At times though I feel the music is too loud, and would have liked a little more acoustic guitar. But all in all he has moved forward and I like it. Recommended.
