The third of the six stripped back acoustic 'American' series that are collectively a masterpiece
All six Johnny Cash albums of the 'American' Series, the last of his career, are very special.They are also extraordinarily good value and I picked up five for under £16. The musical selections are diverse but the stripped back acoustic interpretations, often very different to the original versions, are inspired. Given the broad selection of music there will always be something which is not necessarily to our individual tastes (for me that would be a couple of the gospel inspired songs written by Cash himself) but, as a whole, all six are priceless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
