You watch your tail Cowboy
Truly a underrated Classic and one of 2 pictures Michael Douglas did in 1989 - the other being War of the Roses. Coming off a 2 year hiatus since winning the Oscar for 1987 Wall Street this movie was successful with Audiences but not the critics who criticized the Japanese bashing. Ironically the Japanese actually like this movie where it also did well - so shows you what Critics know. It's is standard generic Police Action movie enlivened by Douglas and the Supporting stars. The Photography is splendid taking in the sights of Osaka Japan. The movie on a extra edge as the actor playing Villain Sato had Cancer, a popular Japanese actor - he never told anyone during filming - and it was only found out as he died after filming was completed. The Bluray is a nice upgrade from the DVD. If you like Action movies or Michael Douglas give this a spin. Highly Recommended.
