Now it's Next Friday and Craig is still living with his parents in South Central Los Angeles while looking for a job and remembering his moment of glory four years earlier, when he finally beat local bully, Debo . But now Debo has escaped from prison and is looking to exact revenge on Craig. Craig's dad takes him to Rancho Cucamonga to hide out with his Uncle Elroy and cousin Day-Day, who have moved to the suburbs after winning the lottery. But once he gets there, Craig and his cousin have a string of suburban adventures that make his South Central experiences look tame.
