Ice cream scoop. Poor quality
This scoop looked good. We used it once, put it in the dishwasher and it went black. The inside of the dishwasher was covered in black dust. This is a very handy tool. Ice cream in a two-litre tub can be very hard and we had previously used a plastic spoon to excavate it, with difficulty and some danger of breaking the spoon. Strong and effective
The scoop works really well. There is some kind of conductive fluid in the handle that transfers heat from hand to scoop (this is apparently vulnerable to extreme heat so NO dishwasher or boiling water!)
