The Axminster Workshop AW1400B bench mounted bandsaw is designed for the small workshop and easily moved when not in use. It features a strong welded steel chassis with a cast iron table. It will take blades from 4.8 to 9.5mm wide. Bearing blade guides and thrust bearing provide maximum blade control for improved accuracy over similar entry level bandsaws. The top guide blade has a rack and pinion height adjustment, giving a maximum of 80mm depth of cut. It has a direct drive motor and balanced cast alloy wheels. The top wheel is mounted in a welded steel sub frame with blade tensioning and tracking controls conveniently close.
