Ok for cutting ceramic tiles, but a waste of money if you need to cut porcelain tiles
Needed a cutter for 600mm square porcelain floor tiles and 600mm square ceramic wall tiles. I've previously used the 400mm and 500m versions of this tile cutter to snap ceramic and porcelain tiles with no problems what so ever. The performance of the 600mm cutter with ceramic tiles was good, exactly as I've previously experienced with the smaller cutters. Where it fails is with porcelain tiles - it was impossible to effectively score the tiles as the support bars bend too much to get a good score line, and this then makes it impossible to snap the tile in a predictable manner. Gave up trying to get a good snap as I was wasting too many porcelain tiles and resorted to the diamond bladed electric "tub" saw.

cuts cleanly, robust, easy to use, but does need a fair force to break a 10mm tile as one would expect.
