I regularly apply after a ride in poor conditions. I just leave it on and it forms a thin film of oil all over the bike. Just remember to clean your brakes and tyres to avoid contamination. In days of yore I brush applied old engine oil to the surfaces of my old triumph 3TA for the winter months....it worked a treat. This stuff is cleaner and easier to apply and used regularly after washing fuses onto the surfaces of the metal reducing the effects of corrosion.
