A very useful locking bolt
Very easy to use and really convenient for those gates of doors that you want to leave unlocked, for ease of access, all day but secure against a casual intruder at night. Thread could be longer on the fixing bolts but it is an easy job for any handy person to cut some extra turns. Check your requirements carefully
Wanted a lock for my new timber shed. Initially attracted by the smart appearance and the combination (no padlock to lose!) but just the wrong product for me. The receiving part (for the bolt) has fixing holes very close to the edge and consequently interfere with the flap on the door. (perhaps I should have realised that) The six 'machine screws' are not threaded all the way down and I tightened just a little too far and ruined the thread and had to remove with a hack saw. (didn't foresee that as a problem). Really needed another turn on the thread (using tap and dye). Replacement parts probably difficult to come by - these bolts slot into the 6 fixing holes and prevented from turning by the square flange. There is no slot or cross in th top of the screw (for security reasons) Just purchased a hasp and staple plus padlock Just bought the wrong product without thinking it throughVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Keyless security
Neat design and the Yale name along with 4 digit code for added security ticks all the boxes. Fitting is straightforward but setting your own code is a little fiddly. The only real gripe I have is that the tumbler alignment is imprecise and you may have to jiggle them to get the code just right not something you need if you want to open it in a hurry.
