Strip and Reveal All
I have used this product before on wood, for which it was very effective. This time I needed to strip paint from a fine detailed metal wall bracket, it again was effective, while maybe not so easy to get into the small spaces, but it done the job with help of a drill on a wire disc. Easy to use, but be patient..
Not as potent is Nitromos used to be but probably good enough. As with the old formulation it dries out quickly, so careful covering with cling film after application helps the process. The cling film can be used to deposit much of the gloop and scrapings afterwards for disposal. Price wise, pretty expensive, so best shop around.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doesn't do what it says on the tin
I've used nitromores many times in the past to remove layers of stubborn old paint. This new version is much weaker and nowhere near as good. The old nitromores was like a thick jelly with a strong smell. This one is a just a runny liquid and lacks the old smell. Disappointing, it did not remove much of the old paint for me and in the end I gave up on it and used a hot air gun.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Average on stained varnish

Have used this product over many years and found it excellent to remove patchy discoloured boat varnish which is no longer protects the wood. It provides outdoor protection against the outdoor elements for around 5 years which I feel is as good as can be reasonably expected.
