Author BiographyTrevor Bentley is also the author of Captured By Maori, White Female Captives, Sex and Racism on the Nineteenth Century New Zealand Frontier. He has a PhD from the University of Waikato, and has specialised in writing about the interaction of Maori and Pakeha in pre-Treaty NZ.
