A Straight Look at the Little Doctor
No other author who writes about the Third Reich period in German history gives a better account of the complete and complex of Doctor Goebbels than David Irving. I have read other books by Irving, and all are outstanding. Historians and scholars owe David Irving a debt of gratitude for his painstaking research, use of primary sources, and brilliance in writing the English language. Dr. Goebbels led a tortured life and was assailed by persons both inside and outside of the Nazi Party; nevertheless, the little Doctor seems to most often have found a way to turn events and minds his way. I am enjoying this book immensely. The price of the tome is well worth it.
