The Canon digital rebel 700D
A very good camera offering a huge range of options for the Amateur and Professional. These modern cameras offer outstanding ISO values essential for bird and wild life photographers who often encounter adverse lighting conditions. I have several older Canon cameras all the way up from the early D60-still a good camera but has limited functions. My Canon 500D is in the same league to some extent with the 700D, but only has max of 1600 ISO. The camera was bought for my forthcoming Birding trip to the Philipines in Jan 2018. Lightweight, compact and easy to use
Although I have only owned this camera a short time I am impressed by the number of features, the ease of use (touch screen or manual for the traditionalist) and the quality of photographs this camera has taken so far using a variety of lenses - mainly a Tamron 18-200 bought of Ebay It was bought as a replacement for my ageing Canon EOS40D (another great camera) and from a personnal point of view I do find the body less easy to handle (I have big hands) mainly because it is physically smaller but it is I likely I will make the adjustment overtime - I have also bought a battery grip which has improved the situation Build quality is good and overall it has a quality feel although some elements feel "plasticky" If you are an enthustiastic amateur like me you will not go wrong with this modelVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
