Unflinching and Brutal
Difficult book to review. The Great War in period photographs where an unflinching and often savage scene is laid bare for the reader. I can understand why it was banned but to my mind it should be essential reading for all those interested in that most tragic of times.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
