Water fountain
This water fountain is great for us as we have 3 dogs one of them is a giant breed. Most fountains are too small for our lot but this huge 3 litre one is just right. It has a really nice large bowl at the front plus the little fountain area above. One of our dogs will only drink from the little fountain area the others love the big bowl. The giant breed causes issues because with a normal bowl one drink makes it turn soupy within about 20 mins. That's not fair on the other dogs. This fountain has stopped that issue so I have peace of mind knowing the water is always fresh. Plus no more changing the water up to 15 times a day. So we all win. I have used Cat Mate for many years. The exact same product so it is five starts. Dog Mate however is not as good in my experience. The same motor comes with it but it is too weak to move 6 liters of water. The water wasn't clean in the bowl as it was with 2.5l Cat Mate. I had to get creative and put the old Cat Mate motor in this, right next to the Dog Mate one so the water now moves enough to get filtered. The dogs (4 of them) all took to the pet fountain immediately and it saves having numerous bowls of water down which can become stagnant. Very sure come the summer it will be even more appreciated as the water will keep fresh with the circulation. Easy to refill and use. Easy to set up, holds enough water to keep him going before needing a refill (gsd). Too soon to say on value/quality, only time will tell with the lifespan of the pump. Would work for well for some dogs
One of my dogs was scared of this product so I reverted back to their earthenware bowl. The dog who would have loved it has passed away, the other two are mud eaters and foul the water, so it is back to the earthenware bowl!
