Therefore, this system has been developed with which you can perform an oil change completely safe and clean. The stahlbus®-oil drain valve will easily replace the existing drain screw. When changing the oil, you unscrew the cap and put on the hose connector via quick release. Only when this is locked, the valve opens and the oil can be drained into the provided container. .

Stahlbus oil drain valve
I'd seen this item about two months ago and had been in two minds about getting it,mainly because of the price. After much thought I decided to get it,because the price of a new sump/thread repair could be costly. I'm glad I got it now,no more worries about overtightening the sump bolt or stripping the threads,just undo the cap,push in and twist the drain tube and job done,so to speak. First impression when I received it was what a simple device and how good the quality is,the cap is a tight fit thanks to the seal and can't be overtightened as it locks good enough by hand. It really is a quality item and well worth the price.

Nice and easy
Good valve that simplifys a lot the oil drain work. The best thing about it is the small size wich helps with a lower carter. However, keep the outer cap on because the valve may leak a little. Also, the plug and drain system might not be very good if you need to collect small amounts of oil. I found the small lever from Fumoto's valve to be better.
