Expensive but beautifully-made tool which is perfect for its task
It's a beautifully-made piece of precision equipment. If you want to take a bearing from field to map, I can't imagine a better tool for the job. On my first experiment, I managed to locate myself with a horizontal error of 125m, which is pretty good.
