I imagined this book to be ideal for a first time user of a slow cooker, but the recipes aren’t the classic ones I thought it would have, there’s a lot of preparation and things to do mid cooking, wanted it to cook whilst at work. And most of the 220 recipes are for dinner parties not every day dinner. Disappointed
