"A Lost Age of Adventure"
Excellent book about overland travel which can no longer be made in its entirety because of shifting political upheaval. Definitely a book for the traveller to recapture the spirit of less troubled times. Fascinating for the transport historian to chart the pioneers of long distance international coach travel - the book title says it all! Not really a book for the bus enthusiast as such, and what a pity that none of these redoubtable vehicles seem to have made it into preservation (unless you know differently!).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
