Love it!
It can be used to make tea or coffee. You must follow the instructions which means do not overfill with water do not overfill with coffee do not overfill with tea and always check it after you brew tea to make sure no leaves or caulking anything like the spring loaded discharge valve. I find the coffee maker to be a brilliant approach to making excellent coffee and excellent tea. I have attempted to get hold of Remington to acquire another basket for a coffee pot that I have, but no luck. They seem to be out of production.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Makes great tasting coffee
It has its pros and cons but if you're looking for great tasting coffee than this is a good place to start. Not so quick easy and convienent but I like the coffee and plan to keep using it. I have used "real" espresso machines and realize that you're not going to get a good brew without some mess and time it takes to make a good cup. The same thing goes for "american" coffee. I have been using a drip brewer with a gold metal cone filter for the best coffee I could find until this came along. good tasting coffee
It brews good tasting coffee. Cleaning the grounds out of the basket seems to be the price paid for good coffee. Also, you will have coffee sediment at the bottom of the coffee pot. Smooth Coffee!
Really good smooth coffee every time! No bitterness just flavorful coffee, I find I use less cream, so I can taste the coffee! You can watch it brew it spins the coffee grounds using every bit of flavor, with the water, amazing. I set it & forget it!
