Golden Guides are wonderful introductions to a myriad of natural and cultural topics. This particular book is rare compared to most of the other guides. It had a limited printing run and covers a controversial topic. The book, like all Golden Guides, is beautifully illustrated. It is filled with fascinating information about familiar and not-so-familiar psychotropic plants and there medicinal and cultural uses from around the world. Perhaps my consciousness hasn't been expanded, but my knowledge about this fascinating topic has been.
Not an actual copy of the Golden Guide book. This is a poor quality photocopied version, with blurry photos and words. Real golden guides are pocket sized. This is bigger than my hand!
A ripped off pdf printed into a self-print unauthorized reprint is not what was advertised nor what they told me I'd be getting when I explicitly asked before ordering.
