Superior product highly recommended
I received this very quick, and quickly realized the quality of this hozelock adapter over my last non hozelock version which incidentally cost £3.99. This hozelock adapter is worth the extra few pounds it fits perfectly to my mixer tap meaning no loss of water perfect! Ho ho hozelock
There are two different hozelock adaptors for mixer taps. This one doesn’t fit on my mixer tap.... nor does the other. If you have the correct tap this could be great?? My tap end is curved and bulbous. If yours is too don’t bother with this as it won’t fit. I returned my hose to Homebase in fact as my only other option was making something out of a balloon and gaffer tape that I saw in a YouTube vid. Totally bogus :(Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good product
I no longer use this product since I have upgraded my kitchen with a mixer tap which needs a different connector. It worked quite well with the old tap but needed to be seated well and screwed up very tight. I t still leaked a bit sometimes. If I turned the pressure down it stayed on better. Good adaptor
Most hoses seem to be geared for attaching to outside threaded taps. Which I don't have. I've heard a lot of people saying they have purchased numerous adaptors with no luck. Mixer tap hose connector
When attaching this to the mixer tap I found the tap would not fit securely into the rubber washer do I tightened the knob very tight to force it in and to stop water spraying out of the side as it didn't sit flush. it’s not perfect. It leaks a little and doesn’t fit every tap. There’s only a few tap shapes that’ll work. I end up having to run the hose from the toilet window on the second floor down to the garden. Terrible fit on taps
No matter which rubber seal I used it wouldn’t seal around any of my taps, either in the kitchen or any of the bathrooms. I don’t know about anyone else’s taps but mine are curved at the spouts, this seems to be designed for a flat base to screw down onto. It doesn’t matter how tight I screw it down the water flies out of the sides as well as where it’s supposed to flow from.
