Best Hurricane kit I've seen - in any scale.
The first impression in the box is, well, impressive. Beautifully molded, with superb surface detail, this gorgeous kit should build into an outstanding representation of an important and somewhat under-represented WWII aircraft. The engineering appears to be quite straight-forward, delivering a fulsome and completely satisfactory finished product, without being unnecessarily complex or "fiddly." The instruction booklet, decals and paint-scheme art are also first-rate. The resin castings are nice enough, however they will require considerable effort to remove from the casting blocks, making this kit a better choice for the modeler with some experience working with resin castings. The photo-etched fret is OK, but I'll probably wait for the more detailed offerings that will surly be forthcoming from one the many PE experts that currently abound. All in all, a really nice offering from Fly Models and an exceptional value - considering the overall quality.
