Great quality machine
Better machine than I was expecting for the money. Don't like the cord that comes with it nor does the bump let it out very well but I changed the cord to 4mm which works very well. Loads of power and weight is not a problem if u balance the weight on the shoulder straps. One may be shorter than the other. Impressed how easily it starts, one or two pulls every time hot or cold. Would not be afraid to advise a friend to buy one of these. Good heavy machines. Short lifespan
For the first 8 weeks they are great. 2 of them the clutchs rusted away. The other is stuck on half power. Dont buy if.you live in a wet climate. They also very heavy. Use alot of fuel compaired to other 50cc + machines.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Been using this for a couple of months now. No problems so far, but then there certainly shouldn`t be yet. This is not a lightweight machine for a small garden, and does require a bit of physical effort. That`s not a complaint, just a warning. It copes well with fairly thick brambles etc. The construction seems fairly robust, giving optimism for a long life, but only time tell. The "tap n` go" head may not be the best, but if it gives up they are readily available. For size and quality I reckon this is very good value, and a safer bet than a second hand "quality" brand that may have had a hard life with a professional gardener.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality but heavy.
Make no mistake, this is a big heavy machine to do a heavy job! It's nicely made and comes with everything needed to start brush cutting and strimming. Care and study of the manual is essential when putting it together, I placed the cow-horn handle bar in the wrong place and thought i'd got the wrong one. Customer service were really helpful and my niggles were quickly resolved. Using it....as i stated it is heavy so worth taking the time to set it up properly on the harness and get the cow-horn handle bar at exactly the right angle for relaxed use. A little disappointed that the fuel mixing bottle is very small & requires 2 mixes to fill the fuel tank but hey most other manufacturers don't give you a mixing bottle at all so being over critical really. Would i recommend it? If you've got a lot of brushwood and strimming to do (we have some land and keep horses but lots of brambles and teasels on it so this machine is what i need) this machine is the business. I'd suggest a much lighter machine if you haven't got a lot of 'heavy' brush clearing to do. It's a nice piece of quality kit!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy starter and powerful cutter..
I have had the use of more expensive equivalents and they were no better. This one starts easily and comes with all the extras you need to get started. The carry strap is possibly the only thing that lets it down, it is awkward to set up and can be uncomfortable. Hyundia Anti Vibration 51cc strimmer/brushcutter HYBC5080AV
Purchased to a replace an old boneshaker that eventually shook my garden helper and itself to bits. He tells me it's a dream, and has more oomph than even the Stilh's he's used. Easy to start and use, cuts extremely well, and no shaking/vibration. Went together easily, instructions not brilliant, but the machine is brilliant I'm told, and he would definitely recommend it. As my 'garden helper' is very happy to strimm now, instead of pulling a face then I'm very happy too. The garden looks better too. Compared to others in the same engine range also an excellent price. Pleasantly surprised!
A bit dubious to spend the extra few quid on a blue and white Hyundai... But really glad I did! Whilst putting the thing together from the box I noticed the decent quality tubing used for the main shaft, certainly better quality than I've had before. Started first time, and once I had the set up comfortable, proceeded to use solidly for 6hrs!!! Didn't skip a beat...bit thirsty.... Excellent value product
With good power and what seems sturdy construction, the Hyundai brush cutter is a good piece of kit for those with weeds to tackle or just a lot of land to strim especially with its easy interchangeable blades.
