This fluxed solder has made life a lot easier for me! I have had solder included with cheap soldering irons and didn't understand why the joints didn't flow very easily and took a lot of time.. till I bought this brand. Wow what a difference in actual use. Heat and flow very quickly... I bought the 100 gram roll as it was much cheaper going by weight than the 20gram tube. Can't believe the difference in solder

Easier to use, with much bettter flow when Soldering electronic components whilst Prototyping on Vero Boards etc, when compared to the "Lead Free" alternatives. And an added Bonus!! Far less oxidisation on Soldering Iron Tips, making the Tips easier to "Tin" too!! Meaning far less time spent cleaning and Tinning. Highly Recommended *****Stars

Since the reduced the lead content of solder some 20 years ago I found most solder dull and liable to early fail. This product is the closest you get to soldering like it was in the 80s. Highly recommended, shame the dealer doesn't have a finer gauge available

Tried some other no name brands by the metre, it's not a patch on this solder. Melts well and gives a nice clean shiny finish. Buy it by the roll not by the tube - it's better value for money.

Great for working on Model Railway track bus bars and accessory wiring, runs easy for tinning and at a good temperature for small iron sizes.

Great solder that flows very easily without the need for any additional flux. I purchased this one after I had purchased another brand with an orange reel (crap) that was more lead than anything else. So buy with confidence this is good stuff!

Excellent 60/40 Leaded Solder. I purchased this as unleaded solder is just a pain to use, and can result in poor soldering connections.

It is described well but if you don't know about soldering like myself! The picture may look diferent to the goods. It is 1mm and if you want to solder a 13amp wire for an electrical socket go for 3mm. That description should give you an idea. I would also add that I had a problem getting it to hold. I would recomend buying some flux paste to add to the wire before you add the solder wire described.

Very good value product as compared with the usual stockists of similar items. Tried it on a complex PCB, soldering in a set of new relays. No dry joints and the solder flowed very well. PCB reinstalled and no problems whats so ever. These days it is difficult to find High Street suppliers of Tin/Lead electrical solder.
