does it's job.
This is a plasticy/rubbery material which is suitable for its purpose. Even with the awning rail pre cleaned it was difficult to draw along the rail even when i "sharpended" the leading edge and silicone sprayed it. had to cut full length into two to make it easier. A streak free caravan
This easy to fit chanel gutter helps stop the difficult to clean streaks you get below the edges of caravan windows. Easy to fit and good quality. Also easy to cut to length with knife or sissors. Product can be listed as white, but it is slightly cream, but a perfect match for Bailey caravans which are off-white. Excellent Product of great quality.
I bought 2 of them to protect both sides of the caravan, they not only keep the awning rail clear of debris, bugs etc they more importantly protect the sides of the van from those hard to remove black streaks. I would recommend though that you remove them when traveling A. because they can restrict the view of some caravans marker lights and B. Because they would increase your fuel consumption slightly. Bought the awning rail protector as I got sick of black streaks on my caravan after it rained. However since fitting the rail protector, rain water from the roof now falls a few inches from the sides of the van and has vastly reduced the black streaks that were previously the norm. No more streaks
I have this in yellow on one side of my van and really does help reduce black streaks down the side off the roof, this is probably better just for being white as it's less obvious visually, one thing that could improve it would be if it were slightly deeper as the rain dripping of still lands on the windows and leaves streaks off the corners of the windows ~ guess I'm sounding "picky" now?
