Find another one, this one is not well designed.
The slider used for AAA, AA, C, D is NOT very solid. Requires pressing pretty hard to get a contact. Once it is made, the digital indicator works ONLY IF YOU ARE CONSTANTLY PRESSING HARD. The contacts on the bottom for the 9V are pretty useless. Have tried several known good batteries and can never get the meter to display any voltage for them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works! LOVE that it’s so tiny.
Living in a NYC apartment, I have resisted buying a much-needed battery tester coz I literally have nowhere to store the larger ones. I didn’t know such a tiny one existed, so I was happy to find this. Totally works! I tested the tester (lol) on batteries that I knew for sure were new, and others that I knew for sure were dead.
