Excellent Easy to Work With
I needed something heat resistant for a craft project and this did the trick. Easy instructions to follow. You have to bake the item to make it work just watch your timings as not needed baking for the length of time stated for craft items. Overall an excellent spray for the job. wish I'd read the description more closely.
in order to use this you will need to bake your item or it won't work, so as for the quality, I really can't comment, but I wish I'd realized before wasting my money. got it to lacquer my brake drums, but have to heat item to 160c in order to harden this product. absolutely no use to me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Lacquer once cured
I have been using this lacquer for a while now to prevent minor pitting on the exhaust pipes of a Honda CB750K8 and CB550K that i have restored rusting further. Both exhaust systems were in good original condition but had minor pitting. Re-chroming was not an option so the systems were polished and then had several coatings of this lacquer. The lacquer must be cured and once this is done it provides a hard and water resistant coating (waterproof?) and the exhausts look great. Not as good as new chrome but still excellent. Not sure how long it will last but it has done so for over 12 months thus far and still looks good. Definitely recommend this lacquer but remember it must be cured. I used a plumbing blow torch with Mapp gas, but a propane torch will do just as well. The header pipes would get hot enough to cure on their own, but the end can/silencers wouldn't.
