Excellent easy to use light weight but strong clamps.
Love these clamps, they are light yet strong and easy to use, even better the tightening turn bar fitting is solid unlike many, so you don't end up searching round the floor looking for the rubber cap that stops the bar falling out. actual usable clamping width is about 33".Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for price.
This is a good product for the price. However if you do a few extras on them you can make them really strong. I inserted timber into the h section. I also inserted a stop at the end, two reasons 1 it stops the adjuster falling off & also locks the timber insert in place. The grub screw that holds the tightener/screw in place is very poor so I will be drilling & tapping 5 mill machine screws in place which will make the product last a lot longer. Also a bit of double sided tape & a bit of thin ply stuck to the jaws will save damage to the project being clamped. These few extras by the manufacturer would justify a higher cost. Twists under pressure
The aluminium extrusion is very lightweight, which makes it nice and portable, but also makes the clamp susceptible to damage. When you tighten up to create clamping pressure, the frame twists and you have to be really careful to support it.
