  • very nice little popper, fast, yummy!!!!!!

it works well, fairly fast as well its faster than my older good one I am saving.. pops most all kernels only 2 semi cons, well maybe this isn't for most size kernels however with jumbo kernels the kind you use for candied corn or caramel corn the chute gets clogged, your first urge is to shake it BE CAREFUL THERE ISN'T HOT BUTTER INT HE DISH FIRST! easier to poke a butter knife in there, once the initial jam is free it wont clog up again, like I said it may only be on these massive jumbo kernels I get from the Omish on the Zon.. very tasty corn oh boy.. other con is and maybe this isn't more of a warning... you may be tempted to move the popper while its working if it walks a little and you want to re position it, again BE CAREFUL if its cup has hot butter in it, THE FEET ARE STICKY and it will tip over! it walks cuz the vibration of the convex spinning up so fast, and it may move, your first instinct is to grab it by the waist and move it back, DON'T the feet are sticky, grab a towel and use both hands pick it up like 1/4" off the surface then move it, set it back down..be careful not to spill your hot butter.. my best advice is to do a few dry runs with no hot butter, see how it works on your surface where you have are going to use it, mine is slippery, maybe yours isn't, best to do a few break in runs and toss that popcorn, get the new smell out and break it in some, see how it works, see if your corn is going to clog and how you want to handle that, see if it dances? mine was so happy it danced across the counter, right towards the hot caramel and nuts I have in the sauce pan waiting for the jumbo popcorn to immerse itself in, OMG I made some better than store bought or carnival caramel corn.. TRY ADDING BACON BITS AND CASHEWS!!!!! fry some fresh bacon up in bits, add it to your caramel corn recipe, OMG!!!! enjoy some healthy popcorn, this thing works and works well, may have a few quirks but the healthy popcorn is what we are after and it delivers... front and center and it may do a dance for you? enjoy...

  • Air Popcorn Popper

Simple to use, doesn't burn the Popcorn. Like most of the Microwave Popcorn that I have used. You can make as much as you want.

  • The Only Unitasker I Approve Of So Far

Normally, I'm on the same page as Alton when it comes to unitaskers in my kitchen. However, if you don't want oil in your popcorn and prepare some multiple times per week, this thing will save you an accumulating amount of bother. Set a large bowl below the spout, dump in half a cup of plain popcorn kernels, plug it in and do something else for about three minutes until the popping stops. You get way fewer unpopped pieces than you'd get from the microwave and the earliest poppers won't get a chance to burn. The only downside is the hair-dryer noise. It's louder than a normal microwave, but I can't be bothered to care when this thig does everything else so well.

  • Nice way to pop corn

Love it's simplicity and being easy to clean since no oil is needed. Besides, that way more butter can be added to the popped corn. We used to use a Whirlypop until it became covered with cooked grease... this is much better.

  • easy to use

Very easy to use and works great. If you want the least amount of calories and sodium with popcorn and not all the drama of using the microwave, this is a good choice. I just eat the popped corn plain and it is a great way to have a cheap snack without all the calories.
