The X100T is a serious upgrade to the S, despite getting some lukewarm reviews. I moved up from the original X100 this time but had owned an S previously. The X100S didn't impress me , I don't know if it was the change of sensor that I was disappointed with initially or the still slow af. Anyway, it went. I converted to Fuji completely when the X-T10 came out. I ended up also getting a used X-T1 and a useful range of lenses. I then felt that it would be interesting to see how the X100T measured up, even reasoning that I could move it on if not happy. Thus far I am very pleased with the camera, it is very easy to use and the menu is similar to the one on the X-T1, the af is much better and also the LCD is improved. Not a startling review, but it is early days.

Very well made.. real quality build and finish. Excellent picture quality. Difficult to hold properly with one hand, requiring a thumb grip or an additional grip of sorts to keep it firm and secure in your hand. Front lens cover is firmly fitting, and needs some effort to come off. Maybe is OK, so it won't full off easily. I will replace anyway with another lens cover in combination with the optional hood I ordered. An extra battery is a must.. The "on" switch is very sensitive and camera can be switched on easily without realising it. Others, works as advertised.

This camera has the simplicity of old time film contraptions, with all the power of modern electronics. The camera has worked flawlessly in cold weather (-10 C), and the battery has held up to a single session of 400 street shots. I recommend carrying at least one spare battery.

This is a sensational camera and my model is second hand and four years old. One lens, Auto or totally manual, enough settings to fly to the moon. It takes WONDERFUL portraits It takes great photos but remember it's a fixed lens, if you want to get closer there's no zoom so you have to use your legs. Total quality, the X series have been compared to Leica's with such wonderful build quality and ability to take sensational photographs.

I just love the X100T, the retro look and feel, build quality, fixed prime lens, manual controls, built in flash - a real photographer's camera. It can unobtrusively hang off your shoulder all day long, readily available when needed. Get one, you won't regret it and it will reward you with endless joy and stunning photographs.
