you may think that because an edition of a cookbook is the same year and has the same picture on the cover that it is the same... But I had been looking for the hardcover edition of this 1989 Pillsbury cookbook ever since our labordor puppy ate most of the recipe pages from my husbands original cookbook. It was my husbands favorite cookbook. And since he does ALL the cooking I was determined to find a copy. I was able to find the paperback editions easily. But my husband did not like it at all. The pictures and the text print was not the same. Then I saw this 1989 edition Pillsbury cookbook in the ringbound. It looked almost the same. I was determined to bid and win it and I did. My husband is so pleased with it. He said that this edition is better than his original copy. He can now even turn the pages back and not have to worry about breaking the spine of the book and then have pages fall out. My daughter likes it too because she is a visual person. She says that this cookbook has great visuals and pictures and is easy to follow for someone who is beginning to learn how to cook or needs to answer a question about how to make or cook something.Read full review
I like it because it has alot of the 'old time' recipes Mom used to make That are hard to find in newer cookbooks.
