It's frothy man
Very smooth and frothy with a lovely mild taste. Just a shame there's not more of it. Would be good if they did an XL version as a couple of sips and it's gone. Delicious on the palate but devastating on the environment
Excellent little cheap machine, which is also compact and easy to keep clean. The pods are great and produce superb coffee in many shapes and sizes. To my delight, the pods are often available on offer on eBay and Amazon and even in Tesco, so availability is the least of my worries. However, I am deeply disappointed by the claim that the capsules are recyclable. This is one thing I based my purchase of a machine on, and I am horrified to find out that I either have to drive for an hour to reach my nearest recycling point or else pay over £100 for a recycling box, then collect the spent pods and send them back postage-free. I have tackled the manufacturers about this but they tell me to contact my local authority. However, the pods consist of a plastic body with an aluminium foil cover, which is then pierced by the machine and flooded by the water to extract maximum taste. This leaves a spent product which cannot be recycled in any system I know of, even if rinsed and emptied, which in itself would be very time-consuming and completely impractical. I for one would check out all their supposedly green credentials carefully against your local recycling regulations before buying this and helping to fill your nearest landfill site with mounds full of plastic and aluminium waste!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
