For those hesitating to upgrade. Don't
Great for: decent connectivity without dropped signals (WiFi & BT) and perfect for using as a Hotspot. Even when using a VPN. Love the buttons at the side (better than iPad 4), clarity in bright outdoors, decent speaker, very good/sensitive microphone for holding conversations on FT. For those upgrading from older models, this is so much lighter and the internal antennas for picking up weak cellular/mobile and WiFi signals is noticeably better. The real (and crucial) difference is the fact that apps requiring a fast processor simply work with far fewer crashes and app hang-ups when using the latest iOS. This was the deal breaker when upgrading from the 4 which I still use but would never revert to. Battery life is terrible I bought the iPad and my mum has been using it she had just told me lately that the battery life is terrible had never got it to 100% there is now a bend in it and it hasn't been dropped the screen and everything else is fine I just think the wrong battery has been put in it not happy wouldn't recommend get one from somewhere else
