Love the buttons at the side (better than iPad 4), clarity in bright outdoors, decent speaker, very good/sensitive microphone for holding conversations on FT. For those upgrading from older models, this is so much lighter and the internal antennas for picking up weak cellular/mobile and WiFi signals is noticeably better. The real (and crucial) difference is the fact that apps requiring a fast processor simply work with far fewer crashes and app hang-ups when using the latest iOS. This was the deal breaker when upgrading from the 4 which I still use but would never revert to.
