Worth the upgrade.
I won't really rundown a film review of this sequel because, let's face it, if you're looking at 'Farewell To The Flesh' on Blu-ray, you're probably already a fan of the franchise or have seen this film already. Brief as I can be...this Blu-ray is worth the upgrade. The picture is an improvement over the DVD release, the film cleaned up very nicely. Not top tier by any means but the film looks nice on Blu and is noticeably improved. The special features run about 40 minutes long with a rather nice 20-something minute interview with Tony Todd who touches on many topics (and repeats many of these anecdotes on Scream Factory's release of the first film). Veronica Cartwright then gives a brief 10-ish minute interview but misremembers a few things and my take away is that she did this film for money. Probably the interview too. But she's a trooper, full of energy, and she's a professional who only speaks positively about the films she is in...even if it's clear she hasn't seen the film since it was finished. What can I say other than if you're looking at this film on Blu-ray, and considering it's one of Scream Factory's more budget-friendly titles, it's worth the investment.
