exactly what i was hoping it would be but it has does require a fairly large area to use it. We put in horse trailer for our kids to sleep on instead of a traditional set of bunk beds. After the first setup it's easy to put together, very comfortable and I like that it doubles as a couch. Quality is 5 star rating. Heavy, real metal and canvas. New for the price of used
The instructions had never been opened. Assembled in 1hr first round (it is two beds). It will probably go faster next time. Multi use if needed. I put a 2” memory foam mattress on mine and my sister uses a comforter for extra coushin; however it’s not needed. The first time I laid on it I thought ‘now this reminds me of laying on a trampoline’ it was a firm bounce feeling like a hammock but without the swing. Has two organizational carrying bags. A must have for large family camping!
Tried this on a whim since our air mattress just took up too much space in our tent. I was pleasantly surprised on a number of fronts: ease of assembly, comfort, and quality! Wife and son slept in and when we added our Thermarest sleep pads, these were nearly as comfortable as our own bed. Great value! Only bummer was that the day after I bought this it went on sale on Zulilly for $50 less. Still though at what I paid it's a great value since we'll use this at home too when company comes over or when my son has friends over for a sleepover. These beds are structurally very strong, not like normal camp bunks that wobble around. They are a little on the heavy side, but their versatility more than compensates.
