Fish well with very useable cost effective kit
I’m really pleased with these. What a bargain! I bought them out of cutiosity because they were so affordable, and I could afford to be disappointed. Anyway, do journey want to catch fish or talk about how much money you paid for stuff? These outfits will certainly catch fish. I’m looking forward to using them, but also they will be stored on the boat for whenever guests come aboard that don’t have their own gear and just want to join in for the day. I believe the build quality exceeds the price a paid a little bit, which is a bonus. They are not flimsy nor fall apart items. The reels seem to be strong and very useable, but although they will cast, don’t expect superior performance because the spools have a rounded edge rather than a machined bevel. Anyway, they’re boat combos so casting isn’t a priority. The handle works on left or right side and attachés neatly and strongly. It’s a bonus that they arrived filled ready with fishing line and two new set of mackerel type lures. Just add a fishing weight and you’ll be good to go. Are they as flashy as my Penn reels? Well, course they’re not but I would be proud to fish with these remarkable value for money sets because they make sense by not hurting my wallet like the Penn equipment does, but that’s ok too, I like all of them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
