Good But...
Great device if your an android fan or you are looking for a device to give independence from your smart BUT Google needs iron out the many bugs, user interface and update the hardware as it is quite dated now for the price but it's essentially the only true pure Android TV box you can get in the UK at the moment without having to buy a whole new TV hopefully Google will update the box with a Pixel branded player later in the year but until this is a good buy for hardcore Google users.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lots of features but no power off, choice.
Expanding capabilities by installing android apps and continuous updates from "mother" Google. However there's no way to actually power it down to save energy of just cool it off (no heat issue by the way), other than pulling the plug and I can't tell if this can anyhow damage the device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Best Media Streamer on the Market
I have 2 of these things, easy to set up, all the apps from Google store work, (not like some of the cheap and nasty steamers on the market where its hit and miss with the apps) They say you can only use wireless with the nexus player but I hooked it up to ethernet and they work great. just get a ethernet adaptor to mini HDMI, easy as.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nexus Player with USB LAN adapter
I have two of these Nexus Players working very well with Emby media streamer and DVBlink to get tv and movies distributed around the house. The Nexus player works with wifi, but HD is better when using the USB Lan adapter with an OTG cable. The Nexus remote is bluetooth, so you don't need to point it at the player.
