The phone is an awesome phone, just because of fm the screen size alone!! If it had a fingerprint sensor on the back like the new 5X and Six X P nexus' I would love it even more... But beggars cannot be choosers, especially since I got a relatively goo deal on this phone!! The battery last all day and then some, but In not a power user by any means. I spend a couple hours on FB and check my email like every fifteen minutes, there's no lagging when it comes to playing videos on FB which is good. I also don't have the screen too bright so that might account for much of the battery left that I do save... It's quick and snappy, takes decent picture too!! All in all this is a great phone!!

I like the size, weight, screen resolution, and response. However, the position and sensitivity of the power and volume controls need a bit of getting used to. I find myself picking the phone just where the buttons are, and either locking the screen or muting the phone unintentionally. The phone acts up and/or freezes too often. Why no provision for an SD card? Battery runs down too fast.

This iteration of the Nexus phones is awesome. The sheer size of the cellphone is amazing, which makes for great handling(as with any cell phones please purchase a case/bumper to protect your investment), the screen size is awesome, not too big and not too small, however it does become warm to the touch through continued usage. The controls for volume and power are with in finger tips range of operation. It's function has been reliable' voice calls are loud and clearer, gaming is seamless even over wifi, sound quality is rich as good as could be expected within reason for a cellular device. For my purpose messaging, web browsing, gaming and sharing pics it fits the bill......I have had one incident with this phone - in the wake of an island wide black it was difficult to reconnect to my service provider, other phones showed a connection, but experienced limited to no calling capabilities, for what ever reason I was without a any connection. it wasn't until the service provider was completely back online that I got a solid cellular connection.....not so much of a draw back but that is truely the only negative i have experienced with this device. Like everything in life, it has pros and cons. Pros so far: 1. Battery could last all day 2. Huge screen and great resolution 3. Pure android if you're a fan 4. Best quality sound on a phone EVER! 5. Beautiful and stylish back Cons so far: 1. Curved back makes it difficult to type while sitting on a flat surfacr 2. It slips my hands without a cover/case 3. No memory card slot It depends on what you're looking for and what you want to settle for.

At $299, it is a fantastic value, no doubt. Large screen - too large at times, maybe, but that is something I am willing to live with. Mostly fast. BUT...after the Marshmallow upgrade, it sometimes becomes slow at random times. Searching for contacts while trying to make a call will unexpectedly lead to the phone app crashing. And the camera - while decent - is awfully slow. Sometimes it will never start and then after 10 seconds or so, simply give up. Something is really wrong with the camera app in Marshmallow, and it affects not only this previous generation of the Nexus, but also the latest generation of the two Nexuses that came out last month.

Read full review

I like my nexus 6: it's big, fast, and efficient. But I have experienced a few spontaneous "shutting off" of my phone without warning. It left stranded for about 20 minutes once while using the GPS, the phone all of a sudden shut off, and rebooted the entire Android system, that was just weird. And another time is simply restarted while I was using it. It's mostly reliable, but I'm somewhat tempted within the next couple years to try an iPhone since I don't hear of this happening with the iPhone. That same incidence has happened a few times on my previous Android phones also.

On-Off switch too close to volume control, always hitting one or the other by mistake. Not real pleased with the operating system applications, eg. can't figure out how to send photos with messages. The phone is as large as a IPhone 6 plus with equivalent phone, camera and display quality as far as I can tell. Big plus is this phone will work with any major service provider - works with GMS as well as CDMA. For me, this was a good value for price paid.

I've been really happy with the nexus 6. Great screen, awesome battery life and fast enough for me and my use. My only gripe is that the cameras macro focus can be jittery. It may be a hardware problem or software. The updates to the Google camera have helped but it still won't easily focus on anything closer than a foot away. Aside from that I love it, will probably try another nexus phone down the road.

This thing is huge! But it falls in line with the quality of other Nexus products, so I still love it although it takes up ALL OF MY POCKET. (And I've big pants!) The thing I've liked about this phone the most is that it seems to have a much better antenna than the Nexus 5; there are simply fewer dead zones than I got used to, which has been helpful. Battery life is OK; I leave location on and that seems to be a big drain--I usually leave it charging at work.
