  • Nice story, showing a poorly run company in a good light !

It's a hack piece, written from the perspective of Kodak's very conservative management. It's very humorous to read,. Everyone knows that Eastman stole the film process patent from Ansco. But Ansco, ( Anderson and Scoville Inc ) surprisingly is never mentioned in the book, nor is the fact that the courts, wrongly agreed with Kodak. Kodak got off cheap, with a light slap on the wrist. Tthe book, just says, there were lawsuits against Eastman, making poor George look unjustly beleaguered! It's a nice reference piece on the hundred years of Kodak, but never touches on the mismanagement that brought the- worldwide corporation to it's knees a decade ago! It, afterall Kodak, which invented the digital image, with Dr. Bayer.
