it's working
Turns out my computer is bluetooth compatible.. but I had the dongle in when I set up my fitbit and it worked. When I tried taking it out, I lost the sync. So either it needed it to make the connection or because it was in at the time of setup, fitbit and the computer are using it whether or not it was necessary.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fitbit USB Dongle
Needed to interface some Fitbit models to computers w/o built-in Bluetooth. Really should have been packaged with Fitbits. Upon plugging it into a USB port Microsoft operating systems recognize it and install the driver... Interestingly called "Human Interface"! Additional software needed to fully use the interface with the fitbit is available free at Google and Apple stores but NOT the Fitbit site.
