IXO Models RN141280 1/43 Scale Range Rover Evoque 3 Door in Santorini Black Diecast Collectors' Model
IXO Models was commissioned to produce some 'Official' corporate Land Rover Range Rover models one of which is RN141280. This is an excellent rendition in 1/43 Scale of the Range Rover Evoque 3 Door model in Santorini Black. Definitely intended to be a diecast metal with plastic parts collectors' model this will be well received by the adult and discerning collector market as the quality and the detailing is amazing and the value for money pretty top notch too. I would say this poses serious competition to the more expensively priced Century model which is of the same 3 Door Evoque in Ultimate black with a red interior. These models I have noticed are more competitively priced and also available in Firenze Red and Fuji White. FOOTNOTE: When I was sold mine the term *DAMAGED* was used in the title. Because the plastic collectors display case this model comes in was slightly cracked. The model itself was mint. Mentioning this just in case this is noticed in association with my review of this brilliant IXO Offering. There are no opening 'bones of contention' to put the adult or discerning collector off and this feels far from 'toy' like having been very carefully and professionally produced. The model is freewheeling and sadly I cannot recommend this for anyone as a toy or for persons younger than 14 -16 years old. All IXO Models are aimed at the display and collector markets and intentions being as excellent as they are. For a more 'toy' like Range Rover Evoque I would suggest looking into WELLY or Saisto who both offer Land Rover Range Rover vehicles of a far more appropriate and robust nature.
