Nice Traditional look Christmas Tree Lights
First its worth mentioning that these are just regular old style christmas tree lights, green wire with plastic lamp holders that take the old style long bulbs which have a pair of bent wires bent around the base, the bulbs just push into the holders, it would have been nice if they had been screw in bulbs, but perhaps these are not made anymore? However the light set seems to be well made, the wire is both sturdy and flexable and the decorative "shades" are very nice, we had bought a set of the Pickwicks last year and followed up with these Victorian Lanterns giveing us 80 lights in total, and compared with plain white or that horrible electric blue, our nice coloured lights look very christmassy. Perhaps most important, we will take care when putting them away and Im sure they will last many years. My only grumble is I found its impossible to get them back into the box, clearly storeing the lights is the key to there long life so why not produce a box that the average customer can get them back into without squashing and scrunching them up?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty but not durable
Very pretty, traditional lights, delivered very quickly with no problems. However, over the Christmas period several of these lights have failed and in the replacement bulb packs I bought as a precaution several of the bulbs lacked the wires to make them work! Proper Christmas lights.
Beautiful, nostalgic design. These lights harp back to gentler times when fairy lights emitted a soft glow, not the harsher and actinic glare of some of the LED strings of today. Just as i remember them.
