Dewalt DW735 extension tables
I just finished installing these extension tables. It was easy to install, and only took 20 minutes. I know they will be a great addition to my planer. more support for the wood going in and out of the planer. My old Delta planer had similar tables, so I think they are a necessity.The installation instructions were clear for installing the tables, but no where did they tell you that you had to adjust the tables for a level plane through the planer. Makes life with the DW735 so much better!
Fits perfectly and was very simple to install on my DeWalt DW735 planer. Kind of hard to adjust and level to the planer bed, but eventually got it. The only thing I didn't like is how the one for the back of the planer can't really fold up and stay in that position for storage because the exhaust outlet on the planer sticks out too far. However, that isn't the extension tables fault, and the spring loaded nuts that are supplied with this product make it extremely easy to remove the extension table and put it back on. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to make their lives easier preventing planer snipe.

An essential element for the 735 planer
I am very satisfied with this set of extension tables that I bought. They are very sturdy, so there is no concern for failure when using them. The only criticism that I have is about the fact that 735 surface planer should come with these already attached. After all, it is essential for the support of lumber entering an existing the machine to be properly supported for safety reasons as well as performance of the 735 planer to begin with. The installation of the tables is relatively easy, as long as you are mechanically inclined to begin with. Don't plane your good wood without these tables

Ideally you want your planer to sit on a custom feed table where you can build stationary level sides. These tables are an affordable solution. Just be aware that you will have to manually adjust them to get level on both sides. Planer tables came new in unopened box. All parts included, along with instructions in several languages. Easy to install and they operate fine, except for one problem. The table on the exhaust port side on the planer will not stand up, or fold away, due to the plastic exhaust protrusion. Other than that it's perfect. Folding Tables
