Fits Hercules W2000 Rotary
This is the only battery manufacture with a battery in the size needed for the W2000 that does not make you pay a penalty for this unusual size. And it is the right size exactly there are no spacers "filling it out to fit". Consequently this monster packs a punch which the rotary engine needs to start. Ive run motobatt on a number of bikes and must say they are the best, i would have said not the cheapest but in this case in was also the cheapest. Unreliable Rubbish
I bought the Motobatt MB51814 for my 1100 BMW on May 8th and after about 600 miles it let me down on July 17th while on holiday in France. Motorcycle was recovered to a French dealer, battery and charging system were checked with the battery being the failed components. New battery fitted, a different make I hasten to add and the bike runs perfectly. MPW don't want to know as I do not have the old battery as I could not carry it back from France although I did manage to get a picture showing the serial number and I also sent them a copy of my repair bill. My advice to anyone would be, do not buy one of these, read the reviews on the Internet, you will see there are lots of failures and many unhappy customers. Good quality and two terminals
I paused before herring this instead of the oem battery. But I was attracted by the two-terminal set up because I have an accessory to connect also. The Motobatt comes with some little brackets to act as terminals. This could have been thought out a little better, they're not great. I added spring washers to mine as I didn't trust the screws alone. All in all, I'd recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Solid battery without the Acid !
Have had good luck with Motobatt Batteries for my scooters and motorcycles. ( bought at least 6 of them) Never have had a problem with leaks etc. and they all came charged. I made sure that I charged them before use, though, with a Battery tender for 24 hours. Nice feature with the multiple terminals, so less headache with selecting a proper battery. You can paint these batteries black, too, so that the yellow is not so evident in bikes where the battery is seen.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Problem with battery terminals
Purchased this battery for use in my 53 reg R1150R. Battery terminals did not match match those on the bike (which is a bit annoying as it takes so long to get to the battery which is situated under the tank) so had to modify them to enable it to fit. Works satisfactorily - whether the battery is good value and quality will depend on how long it lasts. Previous battery (OEM Exide) lasted 8 years. Hope it's worth it
I bought the Motobatt having read good reviews. It was a nuisance to fit though. It was supplied with 4 x M5 screws and some adapter brackets but I needed 2 x M6 short screws to attach the leads. I had to find 2 Allen screws and saw them down to 6mm. I shouldn't have to bother doing this.
