Highly Recommended Headphones!
I purchased these headphones after reading a review of them by What Hi-Fi in Great Britain. They were given a 5 Star rating and a glowing write-up. After receiving them and auditioning them, I can fully understand why. I had never heard open back headphones before, but I can now say I wish I had discovered them earlier. The Beyerdynamic Amiron 'phones have an open, airy, detailed sound that seem to extend beyond and above the earcups. Since they have a 250 ohm impedence, they need a beefy amplifer in order to sound their best, so the sound source will need to be of high quality and sufficient power in order to make them come into their own.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Beyer's Best Bang-for-the-Buck Ever!
Detailed from top-to-bottom, expansive soundstage, well extended at the treble and bass extremes, clear midrange. Technically proficient but above all: eminently and faithfully musical.
